How do I backup the FileCOPA FTP Server settings?

All the settings for FileCOPA are stored in database which is located in your common application data folder. Note - you cannot backup the data while the FileCOPA service is running, the files will be open and this will prevent them from being copied.

To stop the FileCOPA FTP Server Service go to the Windows Control Panel, Select Administrative Tools, then Services.

The common application data folder varies in location depending on which version of Windows you are running.

On Windows XP or older you will find the data in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\intervations\filecopa.

On Windows Vista, 7, 8 or newer you will find the data c:\programdata\intervations\filecopa.

The common application data folder is also hidden by default, so you will need to go to the Windows Control Panel, Select Folder Options and enable the Show Hidden Files and Folders Option.
